The Avalon is a unique wedding destination in the heart of Clapham, south London.

Named after the mythical island at the heart of the legend of King Arthur, The Avalon is home to a bar, a restaurant, a terrace, a courtyard, a small private room and a stunning secret garden with its own alfresco bar, all of which can be utilised for your big day. Using the very best seasonal produce, The Avalon can create bespoke food and drink menus, specifically tailored to your special day. Whether you’d like a Champagne and canapé reception, buffet-style sharing boards, a fish and chip supper or three-course wedding breakfast, we can do it all.

Our experienced wedding co-ordinator will be on hand throughout the planning process and can happily help with all the finishing touches, from floristry to photography, entertainment and everything in between.

Please note we are also just a two-minute walk away from Clapham Common, a beautiful alternative backdrop for wedding photos.

The Avalon is available for part or exclusive hire for up to 250 guests, depending on which spaces you would like to make use of.
